Unlike a standard rental, this package includes everything you need for a complete Aurora experience: a new 5-seat car, a detailed map of the best Northern Lights viewing spots and public campfire locations, an information guide on how to spot the Aurora Borealis, tips for night photography with a smartphone tripod, and links to the best weather and aurora forecast apps.
We also prioritize safety and convenience, providing guidance for driving in Lapland’s unique conditions, including icy roads and wildlife. Optional add-ons like firewood kits and warm winter clothing make your adventure even more comfortable.

You arrive at your chosen spot, warm up by a campfire, and take in the wilderness as the aurora appears — capturing it with your smartphone tripod and night-mode tips.
Return at Your Own Pace
After a magical night beneath the Northern Lights, you make your way back to Rovaniemi. The car can be returned anytime that suits you, with 7:00 AM as the latest drop-off time.

We require a security deposit which will be pre-authorised (ring-fenced) on the main driver’s credit card at pick-up. A pre-authorisation holds funds but does not withdraw them; the amount will be released by the bank after the hold is removed. The time the funds remain unavailable depends on the card issuer and country (commonly 5–15 days but can be longer).
