Horse ride adventure for beginners

This peaceful horse riding experience takes you away from the crowds and into the quiet forests of Lapland.

This is our most popular summer activity at Ranch Kuulas.

During this 2-hour guided horse ride, we head towards our local hill. The route follows forest trails, gentle uphill paths, and scenic lakeside views. Along the way, you’ll experience the changing landscapes of Lapland, from dense pine forests to open hilltop views.

The ride is slow-paced and relaxed, at a walk, allowing you to truly connect with nature and the horse.

The horses

We ride mainly with Finnhorses, Finland’s native horse breed. They are known for their calm temperament, reliability, and versatility. Our horses are experienced in trail riding and suitable for both beginners and more experienced riders.

Horse wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do.
